I got my first W-2 at 14 and haven't been unemployed since. I'm the founder of exaqueo (ex-ACK-wee-o), a workforce consultancy. We help companies learn who their employees are and how they think and feel. This means they can better market an authentic employment experience and make valuable workplace change that matters to employees.

We use academic research techniques to help clients understand the workforce and target recruiting markets. I've been doing culture, brand and talent work for almost 20 years in-house and consulting for brands like The Ritz-Carlton, Marriott, GEICO, Verizon and Four Seasons.

I've also been lucky enough to share insight and content with global media including Wall Street Journal, Inc., CBS Radio, Forbes, the New York Times, The Washington Post and more. I have an MBA (Vanderbilt University), an MA in HR Development (The George Washington University) and a BA in Communications (Virginia Tech). I'm a member of the Young Entrepreneurs Council (YEC) and I co-founded the nation's first MBA Human Capital Case Competition at Vanderbilt University.

My work ethic is spurred by new music and a bit of Philadelphia-born honesty. I live with my husband and daughter in Mt. Pleasant, SC, obsess over football, yoga, wine and travel and dream about a making a career out of sleeping in.
