Landon Borders, Director of Connected Devices at Big Ass Solutions®, oversees much of the behind-the-scenes innovation and research necessary to the creation of the company’s future products. Also an electrical engineer, Landon’s day-to-day work includes collaborating with the engineering team to develop smart, Internet-connected lighting and fan products including the Haiku® with SenseME™ smart ceiling fan.He has more than a decade of experience in product development and integration, from wireless multifunction printers for the home to thermal imaging devices for first responders. Landon is also a board director of the Thread Group, a not-for-profit organization working on technology that will easily and securely connect more than 250 smart devices in a home.
